LPIR®

is Patented technology that is described as

Laser Projection with Image Recording

This product is designed for applications such as; Drilling, Cutting, Trimming, Part Alignment & much more!  This patented system of both method and apparatus is for manufacturing processes using LPT’s laser projection systems with any laser imageable material.  This break-through process offers significant cost reductions in many manufacturing applications.  The LPIR® process provides increased assembly speed along with reduced rework when used in many different manufacturing processes including but not limited to, the assembly of advanced composites, 3D component placement, precise drill and trim and paint templating applications. LPIR DATA SHEET

Revolutionary Cost Savings. LPIR® is a revolutionary step forward from conventional tooling methods to record a lasting image visible on production parts throughout your manufacturing processes. CAD and other computer images projected by LPT’s laser projection systems place a lasting image directly onto your production parts via the imageable material. Once marked, parts continue on through your production line to be processed downstream from the laser marking process. Because you control the image recording process via software images, you can change designs to accommodate flexible manufacturing line changes or design modifications on-the-fly.

Project Higher Profits. You can take advantage of laser-projected image marking in manufacturing environments too harsh or dynamic for standard laser marking systems. LPIR® cuts your manufacturing costs, reducing your dependence on hard tools, as well as time and material charges.

TOPO®

is Patented technology that is described as a

Method and System for Visualizing Surface Errors.

RayTracer TOPO® software module, when used with LPT laser projection systems will drastically reduce the time you spend on reworking the surfaces of your tools or finished parts. With this real time surface error visualization system you can rework or visualize surface errors on virtually any surface with a topographical outline of the surface deviation.

Visualize Cost Savings, LPT combines state-of-the-art laser and scanning optics to capture 3D surface geometry measurements in the form of 3D point clouds with an unprecedented combination of speed, completeness and accuracy. View LPT’s leading edge surface repair system.  RayTracer TOPO Data Sheet.

Decrease Rework Time, LPT saves hours of valuable manufacturing time. LPT’s laser projection system projects a laser image detailing the deviations of the actual surface from CAD design model directly onto the surface of the tool or part in a topographical format for on-the-spot rework. This eliminates time-consuming repetitions of physical comparisons between production parts and surfaces with reference templates, which may require removing production products to remote facilities.

Major Benefits with RayTracer® TOPO®   •Reduce Rework Time   •Reduce Tool or Part Deviations   •Efficient & Easy to Use Interface
